Make Your Ski Resort Safer and More Attractive – With an Innovative Freeride Base

Set a strong example for safety and enthusiasm in winter sports! With a Freeride Base, you not only add value for your guests but also position your ski resort as a leader in safety and service.

The Freeride Base becomes the central hub for freeriders and winter sports enthusiasts.

Here’s what you can offer:

1. Interaction with Patrollers and Mountain Guides

Your guests can directly discuss current snow and avalanche conditions with guides. They’ll learn firsthand why certain areas are closed and what the conditions are like.

2. Freeride Tips and Route Recommendations

Help your guests make the most of their day in the backcountry. With support from patrollers or mountain guides, they can plan the best descents and receive valuable safety advice.

3. Coffee, Dining, and Community

The Freeride Base becomes a meeting place. Whether over a meal or coffee, freeriders can share experiences, plan routes, and connect with like-minded enthusiasts. This fosters a vibrant sense of community.

4. Workshops and Training

Host avalanche rescue workshops or alpine safety courses right on-site. Strengthen your guests' knowledge and enhance safety off the groomed slopes.

5. Awareness and Understanding

Promote awareness of the daily work of patrollers, such as avalanche control, slope checks, or area closures. This builds understanding and mutual respect.

6. Emergency Equipment

Guests can rent or purchase avalanche transceivers, probes, and shovels while checking the functionality of their transceiver at the checkpoint.

7. Safety and Behavior Tips

Educate your guests on key alpine safety rules and encourage responsible behavior.

8. All-Inclusive Service

In addition to renting equipment, guests can book mountain guides directly at the base for safe and enriching freeride tours.

9. Events and Meet-Ups

Regularly host freeride events, safety days, avalanche workshops, or guided tours with local experts to attract and inspire even more visitors.
